This study focuses on how the ideology of feminism is depicted in the film "Cinderella 2021" using the
theory of liberal feminism. Theory of feminism liberal stated that women feel they have a different
workload from men in terms of politics, economy or in social life which makes women want to fight for
rights and equality between women and men. This study aims to identify and analysing feminism in the
Cinderella 2021 film, regarding to investigate women are portrayed in a patriarchal society in the Cinderella
2021 film and to find out the form of women’s struggles in dealing with gender inequality in Cinderella
film 2021.The researcher also analyses element of film before answer the research Questions. The type of
research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data are collected from the film that analysed
patriarchal society and the form of women’s struggles in dealing with gender inequality in Cinderella film
2021. The result of this research shows that causes of patriarchy in film Cinderella 2021 are subordination,
societal stereotypes, and economic factors, and the struggle of women in film based on liberal feminism.
The researcher draws the conclusions that feminism through that appearing, costume, dialogue, and
behaviour.
