The research aims to find out the morphological processes in the political news of Jakarta Globe. The research is analyzed by using the method of qualitative. The data are classified and analyzed descriptively one by one. To take the representative data, the technique which is used in the research is the technique of simple random sampling. The technique of bibliography is also used to analyze the patterns of the morphological processes. The patterns of the morphological processes are identified and analyzed by using the Nida‟s theory of structural morphology. The Nida‟s theory of structural morphology is applied in order to know how the words are formed. In applying the theory, there are four principles that need to be concerned: 1) Identifying morpheme; 2) Identifying/analyzing word-formation; 3) Identifying morphophonemic; and 4) Dictionary. The result of the study finds the patterns of morphological processes which have been analyzed from the articles are affixation 34 words, compound 8 words, conversion 5 words, and base modification 7 words. In addition, another word-formation such as abbreviation/initialisms 3 words is also analyzed
