This study aimed to review figurative language translation acceptability in Anthony Doerr’s All the Light We Cannot See translated into Bahasa by Desy Natalia in 2019. The researcher applied descriptive qualitative method. The researcher first read both the original and the translated novel, then compare the data. To classify the types of figurative language used in the novel, the researcher employed Perrine’s theory of figurative language. The data then reviewed using Nababan’s translation quality assessment to figure out their acceptability index. According to Nababan, Nuraeni & Sumardiono (2012) a translation is considered acceptable if it feels natural, utilize familiar technical terms for target language, and harmonize with target language’s grammatical rule. The result showed that there are 289 figurative languages in the novel. Out of 289 data, 282 are acceptable, while 7 are less acceptable. The translation is considered acceptable, which means natural, and in accordance with the target language culture.
