The purpsose of this research is to analyze the conceptual metaphor of michael buble song lyrics in call me irresponsible album (2007). The aims of this research are: (1) to find out the conceptual metaphor appear in the album. (2) t o discover the state of relationships through the metaphorical expressions. The method of this research is using qualitative method. The metaphorical expressions are analyzed by using george lakoff and mark johnson theory. The result of this research shows that there are 29 the metaphorical expressions which are devided to 7 structural metaphors, 12 orientational metaphors, and 10 ontological metaphors. This study finds that the orientational metaphor is the most frequently used in this album. From the metaphorical expressions, this study shows that there are 6 songs which belong to the good state of relationships and 5 songs that belong to the bad state of relationships in the call me irresponsible album.
