Syalwa Fitria Shandy - Personal Name
This research focuses on the main character Moone in the The Florida Project film. The aims of this research to define Moone's character in the film and to explain the relationship between Moone's aggressiveness and personality structure. This research applies descriptive qualitative as a method of data collection and Psychoanalysis theory from Sigmund Freud. The results of the data are obtained through dialogue and scene in the film. The researcher sums up that Moone exhibits some aggressive behavior when having fun, such as spitting on Grandma Stacy's car at the beginning of her arrival at Future Land, yelling loudly at other people, pushing, and saying-harsh words. Moone prioritizes the id in fulfilling her self satisfaction regardless of norms and morals (the superego). In other words, Moone's ego element seems unbalanced. Moone's aggressive behavior results from imitating the behavior of Halley, her mother. Halley does not provide moral and moral direction for Moone, so Moone is less familiar with good and bad behavior. Therefore, Halley's role as a parent is very influential in Moone's growth and development
