This research aims to find out acronym and abbreviation used in AIESEC
Organization Glossary and how they use it in daily life. The writer took one
Glossary that was written by AIESEC in UIN Jakarta, written in 2020 as the
corpus. The study uses the qualitative method by collecting selected words from
AIESEC Glossary and it will classify the kind abbreviation or acronym based on
George Yule and the data will be described descriptively.
To analyze the data, the research uses structural morphology theory which has
four steps to complete the analysis. The process of analyzing data is identifying
morphemes, analyzing the word formation process, morphological process, and
dictionary. The writer found 18 data that were analyzed and it also defined how
the members communicate with those abbreviations and acronyms.
