This research aims to understand the motive of Jaka Tingkir's political action in dissolving the Wali Songo Council in the Sultanate system and to find out the tactics or strategies used by Jaka Tingkir. The method used by researchers in this research is the literature study method (research library). In this study, researchers also used the theory of Political Science with a Behavioral Approach. Primary sources used by researchers are Babad Tanah Jawi, Babad Jaka Tingkir, Babad Demak and strengthened by Islamic Kingdoms in Java by De Graaf and Pigeaud. The secondary sources used are books, journals, articles, theses and magazines related to the object of research. The results of this research are 1) Jaka Tingkir's grudge to dissolve the Demak Sultanate and the Guardian Council was realized. Jaka Tingkir's grudge resulted from his father's order named Kebo Kenanga delivered by his father's close relatives. Kebo Kenanga was the son of Pangeran Handayaningrat (son-in-law of Prabu Brawijaya V, King of Majapahit). According to Kebo Kenanga, Majapahit was dissolved due to attacks from the Wali Songo Council and the Demak Sultanate. Kebo Kenanga's grudge is to dissolve the Council of Guardians and the Demak Sultanate. 2) In dissolving the Demak Sultanate and the Guardian Council, Jaka Tingkir was assisted by Ki Ageng Pemanahan, Ki Penjawi and Ki Juru Martani. His strategy was to attract Sultan Trenggono's attention to become an adopted prince and be made a son-in-law by Sultan Trenggono when he was able to fulfill his orders.
