This research aims to analyze the types of deixis, interpret the reference meaning of deixis, and examine the dominant deixis found in a video ―How to Travel Around the World with almost no Money‖ speech by Tomislav Perko on TEDx Talks YouTube channel. This research selected the video as the subject of the analysis because Tomislav Perko used many words of deixis that he used on the video. The research was conducted using qualitative methods. This research examined the type of deixis by using the deixis concepts of Levinson (1983). From all the data analysis taken from the video, this research found the four types of deixis, like person deixis, time deixis, place deixis, and discourse deixis. This research did not find social deixis. This research also discovered person deixis as dominant deixis used by Tomislav Perko. Thus, the use of deixis must be straightforward so that the audience understands what the speaker is saying and the speaker's intent can be conveyed clearly.
