This study discusses the portrayal of woman in the film Enola Holmes in the era of 19th century through its main character of the film „Enola‟. The objective of this study is to identify feminism values through the character of Enola Holmes and to explain how Enola challenged the social norms in 19th century. Through this method the researcher employs the theory of Semiotic of Charles Sanders Pierce, which categorizes sign into three related parts, namely representamen, object, and interpretant. This study concludes that there are fourthteen images consisting of ten symbols and six icons. The findings also show that the film represents the feminist values through the character of Enola, such as independet, intellectual, showing freedom of choice, gender equality, and right to privacy. The character challenges the social norms in the era of 19th which still positioned women as an inferior social being and were oppressed by the patriarchal system.
