This study used the theory representation by Stuart Hall, the characterization of the characters according to Boggs and Petrie, and the concept of adolescents. The analysis focused on the dialogues and scenes of the characters. This research used qualitative descriptive analysis method to process all of the findings and evidences that are found in the scenes and dialogues. The result shows that Ender’s Game represents the adolescence in the American International Battle School as a distinct stage of development, characterized with the mental and mindset rapid change, the insecure phase of the adolescents, and the identity search. It is a phase where the genius adolescents cannot keep their self from the insecurity and must take the great responsibility of human salvation. They are forced to skip over the step of adolescence, which shape and influence them as an army, not a normal adolescent. The treatment they get, the strict battle school, and the lack of the roles of adults influence this striking difference. At the end, adolescence in the American International battle school is a great time for them as army, get dark time as the adolescents.
