In this thesis, we investigated the translation techniques used by translators in translating two song lyrics, entitled "Hanya Rindu" and "Cinta Luar Biasa" which are translated by Emma Heesters into English "Just Missing You" and "Incredible Love". To get the data, we reach it by listening to both songs in both the Indonesian version and the translated version, then the songs were classified into the types of translation techniques by Molina and Albir. From the data, we found 11 kinds of translation techniques. They are adaptation, amplification, generalization, linguistic amplification, linguistic compression, literal translation, modulation, particularization, reduction, transposition, and variation.. The most used translation technique is amplification.
