This thesis aimed to discuss the issue of social injustice portrayed in The Florida Project film (2017). The objectives of the research are to identify the form of social injustice experienced by Halley in Sean Baker’s The Florida Project, to analyze the effects of social injustice, and to know how the main character’s state following the injustice she encounter in her daily life. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to collect data and analyze the research problem. The researcher also employed sociological approach as the theoretical framework to conduct the analysis. The result of the research shows that: among many kinds of social injustice, poverty is the issue experienced by Halley in the film, the effects of social injustice experienced by Halley are Halley get oppressed from several upper classes and also marginalization, those unfair treatment made Halley suffer in her life which made her losing her job, losing custody of her child, and losing hope.
