In this research, the writer analyzes the major female character, Tree, in the horror film Happy Death Day 2U using a feminist liberal perspective by Betty Friedan (1963). The research method is qualitative, and the type is descriptive analysis. The instrument of the research is the writer itself as the subject of the research by watching the film, reading, understanding, and analyzing the data collected from the Happy Death Day 2U (2019) Film. The researcher found Tree, as the main character, succeeds in getting equality between men and women. This point follows what Tree does, which is trying to survive from being chased by a baby mask killer who is a man. And she also helps her friend Lori out of an unhealthy relationship with a man who has a wife. The conclusion is that women's power in this study is not in the form of strength but in the form of a strategy made by Tree, and this film is indeed a women’s power film
