The unbreakable and glass movies directed by M. Night shyamalan have three major characters in those movies but the writer focuses on Elijah character to further analysis. Elijah character is a mastermind of all the problems that happened in both movies. This research will examine Elijah character of troubled Obsession with comic books until he wants to realize the comic characters. The method of the research is qualitative. To support the research, the writer uses psychoanalysis theory, defense mechanism, characterization, obsession, and narcissism as the concept. The result of this research is that Elijah has an Obsession with comic characters and he wants to create them in real life. The realization of the comic character that Elijah did by inserting ideas or assumptions about the comic character repeatedly to David and Kevin that aims to make David and Kevin believe and follow his statement. The conclusion of the research is Elijah’s actions unconsciously be included into narcissistic behavior when he creates David and Kevin as an object to fulfill his obsession satisfaction. Elijah's behavior is known as a form of defense mechanism when Elijah projects his Obsession into David and Kevin as an object.
