The research aims to discuss about the woman in the window novel written by A.J Finn published in 2018. This research employs qualitative analysis method and apply psychological thriller theory by Joyce G. Sarick. The objective research is to describe how the psychological thriller explain through intrinsic elements. The result shows psychological thriller through characterization provide character suffers from psychological disorder, what character might do next and why they do it, character - driven, unlikeable but fascinating character. Through story line provide plausibility, suspense, surprise or plot twist. Through tone include high tension, threathening and frightened. Through setting presented in apartment, normal world everyday, trap in one room and nightmare world. Through language style use descriptive, narrative, and persuasive. The last through point of view use unreliable narrator and first person point of view. In conlusion, the characteristic of those intrisic elements certainly construct the psychological thriller genre in novel the woman in the window.
