The research is aimed to reveal a meaning contained on pictures which are as advertisement of L.A. BOLD. The pictures are accessed from L.A.BOLD official websites and on range January – May 2016.The method of this research is qualitative case study method. The definition of this method which is given by Merriam (1988) as quoted by Nunan as an intensive, holistic description an analysis of a single entity, phenomenon, or social unit. And the theory that is used to analyze the data is Roland Barthes’ theory focusing on finding denotation and connotation meaning.As the result of this research, there are ten pictures that contains dennotataion and connotation meaning. It can be concluded that the theory is applicative to similar research.
