This research is about types of translation methods and how the translation
equivalence in the process of translation from English into Indonesian
Language. The aims of the research were: (1) to classifies the types of
translation methods in Blended Movie subtitle. (2) to know how the translation
equivalence in the translation process in Blended Movie subtitle. Moreover, the
researcher used a qualitative descriptive method by using types of translation
methods stated by Peter Newmark
