An Analysis of main Character's hierarchy of need in zootopia film

Zootopia (2016) film directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore is the unit analysis of this research is to investigate the way Jody Hopps as the main character, fulfill her needs by using the hierarchy of human needs theory of Abraham Harold Maslow. This research identifies the problems of Judy Hopps who is looked down by the society related to the needs which are revealed in her way to get self-esteem and how she fulfills her needs.
The researcher uses qualitative analysis technique in analyzing Judy Hopps in Zootopia. The results show that judy Hopps in Zootopia film could fulfill her needs, namely physiological needs, safety needs, love and belongingness needs, and esteem needs. Judy Hopps capability to regain trust and recognition for herself and other being and those potential traits bring her to open the next stage of hierarchy of needs, the self-esteem needs.
